
5 Camden County, NJ, Men Arrested on Child Porn Charges
- Five Camden County men arrested in August on child porn charges
- Cyber tips linked suspects to online accounts sharing illegal material

Five men from across Camden County were arrested last month for crimes related to child porn.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says numerous law enforcement agencies were involved in these cases, including the Camden County, Gloucester Township, Cherry Hill, Berlin Borough, Lindenwold, and Winslow Township Police Departments, along with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations.
33-year-old James Nicholas of Lindenwold
James Nicholas was arrested and charged on August 1st with second-degree distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), second-degree possession with intent to distribute CSAM, and third-degree possession of CSAM.
Authorities say a cyber tip led detectives to a Kik account that was used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives allegedly identified Nicholas as the user of the account.
49-year-old Warren Magee of Camden
Warren Magee was arrested and charged on August 2nd with third-degree possession of CSAM.
Detectives say they received a tip that Magee was in possession of CSAM on his cell phone and during their investigation, they also allegedly identified Magee as the user of a Telegram account used to possess CSAM.
30-year-old Jeremy Algarin of Berlin Borough
Jeremy Algarin was arrested and charged on August 6th with second-degree distribution of CSAM, second-degree possession with intent to distribute CSAM, and third-degree possession of CSAM.
The prosecutor's office says,
A cyber tip led detectives to a Discord account used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Algarin as the user of the account. Additionally, a forensic search of Algarin’s cell phone revealed CSAM.
20-year-old Raekwon Harold of Lindenwold
On August 8th, Raekwon Harold was arrested and charged with second-degree distribution of CSAM, second-degree possession with intent to distribute CSAM, and third-degree Possession of CSAM.
According to authorities,
A cyber tip led detectives to Instagram and Kik accounts used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Harold as the user of the accounts.
29-year-old Jay Curry of Winslow Township
On August 19th, Jay Curry was charged with one count of fourth-degree obstruction by flight and on August 21st with four counts of second-degree distribution of CSAM, three counts of second-degree possession with intent to distribute CSAM, and three counts of third-degree possession of CSAM.
A cyber tip led detectives to a Kik account used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Curry as the user of the account.
Prosecutors say Curry fled from law enforcement during a search of his home in Winslow Township on August 19th, but he was apprehended a short time later near his home.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
