Willy Wonka we're not, but officials with the New Jersey Lottery said one Powerball ticket matched all five white balls drawn for the Monday night, August 28th, drawing winning.
What would have been a $1 million prize was doubled to $2 million since that ticket was purchased with the Power Play option.
Lucky numbers
The winning numbers were 04, 06, 25, 55, and 68. The red Power Ball number was 26 and the Power Play was 2X.
How sweet it is
The winning ticket was sold at Gary’s Sweet Shoppe on West Side Ave. in Jersey City.
With no big winner, the Powerball jackpot now stands at $386 million for Wednesday night's drawing.
