We have obtained a copy of a letter that is circulating around Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The contents of the letter (that we are publishing here) is about Superintendent La’Quetta Small; the child abuse criminal charges that she currently faces and the inaction by the Atlantic City Board of Education.

Before we get into the specific details … first, even the origin of the letter is bizarre.

The letter was sent by mail to Atlantic City Councilman Jesse Kurtz. The return name and address reads John Exadaktilos.

Exadaktilos has confirmed on his Facebook page that he did not author the letter, writing:

Many people have reached out in support of this letter. Unfortunately this DID NOT come from me. Doesn't even read like how I would have written it. So to who ever did honestly thanks from many of us but I unfortunately can not and will not take credit. Please read it regardless, wrote Exadaktilos.

The focus of the letter serves to warn the Atlantic City Board of Education members that they could have personal liability for their failure to take action against La’Quetta Small.

The letter also compares the difference between immediately suspending (with pay) Constance Days-Chapman versus taking no action whatsoever against La’Quetta Small.

Days-Chapman is the Principal of Atlantic City High School.

An Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Days-Chapman on August 17, 2024 on a variety of criminal charges as follows:

  • second-degree Official
    Misconduct.
  • one count of second-degree Pattern of Official
  • Misconduct.
  • one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
  • one count of third-degree Hindering
    Apprehension of Another.

About Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and La’Quetta Small, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office publicly confirmed that:

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La'Quetta Small, 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault.

A separate Atlantic County Grand Judy has also indicted Marty Small for witness tampering.
