Our focus is to help the New Jersey Shore survive and thrive. Our goal is to help any all aid efforts. If you belong to a group or organization which is holding an event, contact us, and we’ll help get the word out. Email all the event info by CLICKING HERE. Here’s a look at upcoming events:

 

*Tuckerton Elementary School has its doors open from 8-12 daily to help those affected by hurricane Sandy.  They have clothing, baby stuff, toys, food, toiletries, household items, and the list goes on and on.  MANY people have donated items.  They are located at 213 Marine St. in Tuckerton, NJ.

 

* In an effort to assist those affected by Sandy, volunteers have organized a cleaning supply collection called “Clean up the Shore.” They are accepting donations such as mops, brooms, shovels, paper towels, bleach, ect. Anything that can be given to help people clean their homes from this horrific storm. The drop off location will be the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, located at 1404 RT 50 in Mays Landing.

 

* Local Food Banks in Egg Harbor Township, Ocean City, and Little Egg Harbor are in need of the following:  Canned foods, Peanut Butter, Toiletries, Shampoo, Laundry soap, Paper products,Baby food, formula, diapers

 

*Both of these churches have asked for donations OTHER THAN CLOTHING, specifically toiletries and cleaning products.  Additionally, they request non-perishable food, diapers, NEW baby clothing, NEW blankets.

 

St. Gianna Berette Molla Church,1421 New Road, Northfield

12-5 PM, daily (for drop off and pick up)

 

St. Apostolic Tabernacle,923 W. Washington Ave., Pleasantville                                     3:30-7 PM, Monday-Friday; 9 AM – 5 PM, Saturday (for drop off and pick up)

 

*The United Way of Atlantic County is coordinating recovery effort donations through its Volunteer Center. The number is 609-404-9945.

 

*Employees in the Egg Harbor Township municipal offices are hosting a food drive for the Community Food Bank this holiday season. Items may be brought to the municipal building located at 3515 Bargaintown Road, Egg Harbor Township.  Business hours are 8:30am - 4:00pm.  Collection boxes located in the Police Deaprtment lobby (Police Records) and on the second floor The Building Inspections/Fire Inspections/Planning Board Offices. They are collecting until December 17th.

 

*A benefit will be held on Sunday, December 9th, from noon until 5-pm at the  Bowling Center - Playdrome at 821 Conifer Street in Toms River.There will be a a bowl-a-thon and Chinese auction and blood drive with the American Red Cross. Cash donations will also be accepted. All profits will be donated to locally affected families with a commitment from the Salvation Army and Jr. Woman's Club.

 

*A RELIEF FROM THE BEAST MusicFest event is Saturday, December 1, at Maloney's Uptown on Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City. There will be live music, raffles, sports memorobilia, and more. $20 donation to get in. 5pm - 1am.

 

*Operation Jersey Shore Santa is now underway, to help kids touched by Hurricane Sandy. To find out more, click here: www.operationjerseyshoresanta.org.

 

 

*The Belcoville Firehouse is holding a gift card collection for Belcoville residents affected by Sandy. Gift cards will be collected Saturday, Decenber 1st from 9am - 3pm.
