Shout Out Your Favorite Teacher For World Teachers’ Day
We're currently living in a world we never thought we'd see in our lifetimes.
School is now being conducted via our living rooms and dining rooms, children are better experts at the art of online video chatting than adults, and teachers have had to completely pivot not only where they're teaching, but their methods and techniques to keep up with the current state of the times.
It's been a wild year for the education profession, for sure. For the first time in many of their careers, it was learning curve for teachers to completely reinvent the way they conduct a classroom. A lot has been thrown their way since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the nation and they've had to not only adjust, but keep it moving for the sake of our children.
Today is World Teachers' Day. Every teacher in the WORLD deserves a little recognition for the service they provide. Parents for the first time have experienced the stress that teachers face with every failed test, every missed homework assignment, every kid speaking out when not permitted to, etc. The appreciation for teachers has never been higher, so if you have a teacher you think deserves a little recognition for a job well-done, we have a couple places where you can drop your shout-out.
