Authorities say a 24-year-old man has been charged with kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and robbery in connection to a series of events in Jackson Township.
Lakewood police said Jesus Penuala, 20, came to the front door of a house in the Woodlake Manor section of Lakewood around 8:30 a.m. but left when the 50-year-old homeowner confronted him.

The man also chased someone down the street from the Bais Medrash Torat Chesed Yeshiva towards a construction site but police could not locate the man.
