The Best Performance on American Idol This Year [VIDEO]

Remember when Carrie Underwood sang Heart's, "Alone" on American Idol?  That performance won the competition for her that year.  Jena Irene had a performance like that last night.  The other contestants can pack their bags.

The theme of American Idol last night was all about love, break-ups and make-ups.  Jena Irene sang Elvis.  I love Elvis.  She left Jennifer Lopez in tears, Keith Urban called her a "musical platypus."  Even the unmovable Harry Connick Jr. called her performance a "rare TV moment."

I walked down the aisle to marry my husband to this song.

Caleb didn't do too badly either with his performance of "Maybe I'm Amazed."
