American Idol Season 13 Sneak Peek!

I was lucky enough to attend a live 'American Idol' sneak peek for the upcoming season last night!  Lucky Season 13 of 'American Idol' begins tonight at 8pm on Fox!

The premiere event was held in a movie theater last night (Fox and 'American Idol' held a handful of these events in cities across the country).  Ryan Seacrest was live in LA for their viewing party, along with all of the judges.  They took questions after we watched the premiere episode.

I must say that I feel like this season of 'American Idol' is going to be awesome!  The three judges really work well together (as opposed to last year...).  Jennifer Lopez is beautiful and charming and Keith Urban (also beautiful!!) and Harry Connick, Jr. have a bromance that will rival Blake Shelton and Adam Levine from 'The Voice.'

They can laugh and joke together, but they are very serious too.  The episode that airs tonight is funny and emotional and you will love it!  I'm so excited that AI is back with a formula that works.  I felt so badly for Keith Urban last year, but I'm glad he stuck around because you will definitely enjoy the chemistry of the judges this year.  Harry Connick, Jr. is hilarious!

There were two Jersey contestants in the episode, Stephanie from Howell, NJ and Austin from Warren, NJ.  They both tried out in the Boston auditions.  I won't tell you whether they made it to Hollywood or not.... But I was excited to see Jersey represented!

After we watched the premiere episode, we watched Ryan Seacrest and the judges on screen live in LA.  They took Twitter questions from fans across the country that were at the viewing events.  I tweeted a question, saw it on the screen, but they didn't pick it!!

Oh well, it was a cool event and I can't wait for this season of American Idol! If you disliked last year's drama, give this season a chance.  I guarantee you will enjoy the show!
