Ladies, as a fellow member of the female gender I need to get something off of my chest. I am extremely disheartened by some of the comments I saw on social media concerning Her Royal Highness, Meghan Duchess of Sussex. Women are extremely vocal to the world about not wanting to be judged based off of looks and for celebrities to look like real women, but those same women are the first to tear another woman down. This became evident during the royal wedding.

Now, do I think that having an opinion that may be negative is wrong? No. However, it is one thing to give a respectful opinion, but it is another to tear another woman apart.

One of the most common complaints about the Duchess of Sussex on social media was the amount of makeup she was wearing. Seriously? Women complain about when celebrities or any other woman wears "too much" makeup. As someone who likes to wear a lot of makeup, I cannot tell you the amount of times women have made comments about it. Now, we have a woman who is naturally gorgeous and women are tearing her a part for wearing too little makeup.

How many times have your heard the phrase "oh you are so pretty you don't need makeup?" How come that doesn't apply to Her Royal Highness? She didn't look ragged. Her skin was flawless and she glowed.

The craziest things I've read about the royal wedding used the phrase "gold digger." Yes, people are referring to HRH as a gold digger. The majority of the comments I cannot post here, because they contain explicit language.

I'm sorry, when was it okay to call a woman a gold digger? It's not.

How about we adopt the phrase "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" The world would be much better off for it. We live in such a negative world, we don't need to add to that with women trashing other women. You don't see guys taking to social media to trash Prince Harry. Ladies, stop being so catty.

The royal wedding was for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. They looked unbelievably happy and in love. That should be enough for the rest of the world. So internet trolls, just stop it already. To be cliché, tearing someone else down does not make you look better.
