Cops in Atlantic City are asking for the public's help after they found personal items Tuesday morning but not the person they belonged to.

Police say at around 7:45 Tuesday morning, officers responded to the Caspian Avenue beach in reference to a concerned citizen who found a man's personal belongings. They say clothes, a cell phone, and driver’s license for 29-year-old Isiah Ruffin were found.

Officers went to multiple addresses in Atlantic City trying to find him but they were not successful.

According to family members, Isiah Ruffin was last seen on October 26th but his last contact was via a text message at around 5AM on the 27th.

Ruffin is described a Black man, 29-years-old, 5 foot 4 inches tall, and weighing 120 pounds. He has a bald spot on the top of his head.

The United States Coast Guard and the New Jersey State Police were alerted to possibility that Ruffin may have entered the ocean.
