You won't be able to travel as a foot passenger on the Cape May Lewes Ferry for awhile.

In a statement on Facebook, ferry management has announced that, "With temps dropping & COVID cases on the rise, we’re taking some proactive steps to help ensure the safety of our passengers and crew."

The statement says changes will be made, beginning Monday, that include no walk-on "foot passengers", and no bicycle riders. In addition, there will be no indoor seating available, and the Cape May terminal will be closed, with the exception of the restrooms.
