Carrie Underwood stars in 'The Sound of Music' tonight live on NBC! The live event starts at 8pm.

Carrie Underwood plays Maria von Trapp and Stephen Moyer plays Captain von Trapp in NBC's live rendition of 'The Sound of Music.' It will be a live event on NBC tonight at 8pm EST.

NBC is all over the Christmas specials this year - last night with the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting event, 'The Sound of Music' tonight and Kelly Clarkson has a Christmas special coming up on the network soon, too!
