The Pleasantville Greyhounds and Camden Golden Panthers will resume their NJSIAA Group II playoff football game today, five days after gun shots forced the suspension of the game on Friday night.

Camden is leading the game 6-0 with 4:58 left in the third quarter of the game.  The game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Today Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz commented on the game.

"Its a very tough situation," Wentz said.  "I pray for everyone involved."

Eagles head coach also commented on the thrill for the kids to be able to play at the Linc.

"It’s obviously a tragic situation that you don't want anybody to go through and especially during the middle of a game,"  the head coach said. "I think it was five minutes to go in the third quarter when it happened. These kids are out there with their families and their friends and their enjoying a game on a nice fall night and something like this happens, and it's tragic.

Then on our side of it, to be able to provide an opportunity, one, a place to finish the game, but, two, to kind of reach out and lend support that they're not alone in this endeavor, and that the Eagles have really stepped up and, again, provided The Linc [Lincoln Financial Field] and provided an opportunity for them to finish the game and have a great experience with their families, with the two teams obviously. It should be exciting for them this afternoon."

The team that wins on Wednesday will face Cedar Creek H.S. on November 30 (Saturday) for the Central Group 2 Sectional Championship, at the home field of the higher seed.
