Remarkably, (below) this is what the former Wynn mansion looks like today on February 16, 2023:
This former opulent home, which was once the very best of the best in terms of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, is now a pile of construction debris.
Santoro, a personal protection expert called it a “fortress, with 12-inch brick, concrete, and steel construction throughout,” said Santoro.
Before the former Wynn mansion was taken down by the wrecking ball … Zillow.com valued the property at just under $5 million.
There is so much history in this home … from the dynamic Wynn himself … to the many icons, such as Frank Sinatra who stayed there multiple times over the years.
Here’s another Santoro photo (below) that shows the mansion reduced to a pile of rubble:
Santoro has provided us with this great example (below) of the double brick, 12 inch walls that were in place throughout the mansion.
Here’s an example (below) of the steel beams that fortified the former Wynn mansion.
In case you’re wondering, the new owner could not raise the massive property because of the weight of the brick, concrete and steel.
That left only two choices. Keep it in its current form or tear it down.
