When driving east on the Atlantic City Expressway, the Winslow Township exit will fall on your right between the Hammonton and Gloucester Township exits. According to 6ABC.com, the fire has already destroyed almost 800 acres of protected wooded land in Camden County.

The fire initially started Tuesday afternoon, but the strong winds caused it to spread which had firefighters battling the blaze all evening into the early hours of Wednesday morning. Thankfully, despite the long hours, no firefighters have been harmed and no civilian injuries have been reported.
