Is it St. Patty’s Day or St. Paddy’s Day? [POLL]

I'm CONFUSED! I'm seeing flyers and events scheduled for St. Patty's Day, and for St. Paddy's Day... I've participated in something called "Paddy Murphy" but that's the extent of what I know about Patty vs. Paddy. Apparently, it's a gender thing according to this tweet:

So since it's St. Patrick's Day, it should be Paddy, rather than "Patty" as it would be if it were St. Patricia's Day...right? What do you think, take our poll!
