Data Reveals That You’re Better Off Driving In New Jersey Than Opening A Business Here
Here in New Jersey, we are used to hearing bad news about our state, but this time around it's double trouble.
It's not enough for New Jersey to get one piece of bad news, and this time around, the bad news comes in twos, at least according to the good folks at WalletHub.
Let's start with the bad news for the entrepreneurs here in the Garden State. It turns out we are the 7th worst state in the nation to open a new business.
And when it comes to the category of "Business Cost", guess which state is the most expensive. We think you know.
But that wasn't the only bad news for New Jersey that was uncovered recently. We are, at least according to this report, not a very good place to get behind the wheel and do a little driving.
The ranking for this is not as bad as you might think. Despite all the cursing, beeping, and middle fingers we see on New Jersey's roads, twelve states in America are worse to drive in than New Jersey for 2024.
It turns out New Jersey is ranked as the 38th-best state for driving in our country. So, based on this information, you're better off driving in New Jersey than opening a new business here in the Garden State. That says a lot.
This should serve as a reminder to all New Jersey residents to buy local, support new businesses, and of course, drive safe.
