There’s a recall affecting one specific lot of frozen Wellsley Farms Farm-Raised Atlantic Salmon, and yes, it includes stores here in New Jersey.

Here’s What Happened

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration shared that Slade Gorton & Co., Inc. is pulling back a single production lot after concerns it could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Now, I know recalls can start to feel routine, but this one matters. Listeria isn’t something to brush off. It can cause serious illness, especially for pregnant women, older adults, young children, and anyone with a weakened immune system. Symptoms can feel like the flu at first, fever, aches, stomach issues, but it can become much more serious.

What You Should Do
