1 Killed in Fiery Wrong-way Crash on Route 130 in Willingboro, NJ
One person was killed in a fiery wrong-way crash on Route 130 in Willingboro, Burlington County, overnight.
The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and Willingboro Township Police Department say the accident happened around 12:30 AM.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a motorist in an SUV was traveling the wrong way along the 4200 block of the northbound lane of Route 130 near Beverly-Rancocas Road when it collided with a sedan, which burst into flames.
Authorities say the driver of the sedan, who did not survive, was alone in the vehicle.
A second collision happened with a vehicle that was traveling behind the sedan. The driver of that vehicle was not injured.
The driver of the SUV was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and is expected to survive.
No charges have been filed at this stage of the investigation. The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
