
Atlantic City, NJ, Man Guilty Of Robbery & Unlawful Use Of Firearm
A successful collaboration between the Atlantic City Police Department and Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has led to a guilty plea of an Atlantic City man on robbery and unlawful use of a firearm.
Davidson Dominique

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, Davidson Dominique, 25 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to:
- second-degree robbery.
- second-degree possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes.
The guilty plea was heard before New Jersey Superior Court Judge Dorothy Incarvito-Garrabrant.
Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Has Released The Following Information About This Case

On April 28, 2025, an officer of the Atlantic City Police Department was flagged down by the victim, a local taxi driver, who reported being robbed and shot at in the area of Route 30 and New Jersey Avenue by a customer. Officers learned that the taxi driver picked up the defendant, Davidson Dominique, for a taxifare at the Ocean Casino, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Additional Facts Of This Case
The victim drove to the requested location. Upon arrival, Dominique pointed a handgun to the back of the head of the victim and demanded money.
The victim gave Dominique $ 100 and his cell phone. Dominique left the victim, however, the victim decided to follow Dominique from his taxi.
Dominique fired a shot at the windshield of the victims taxi cab — hitting the passenger side.
The Plea Agreement
This plea agreement is recommending a 5-year New Jersey State Prison sentence, with 85% required to be served before parole eligibility.
This is required under the “No Early Release Act on the robbery charge, concurrent to a sentence of five years with three-and-a-half years of parole ineligibility pursuant to the Graves Act for the firearm charge,” said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Dominique is scheduled to be sentenced on August 18, 2026.
