Atlantic County, New Jersey Sheriff Joe O’Donoghue released the names and photos of the Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. In less than one week, four (4) have been captured.

Now, The Capture Of Top 10 Most Wanted — Dominick Haynes

Haynes was captured on Monday, August 31, 2026.

Prior to his capture, Haynes was wanted on outstanding warrants issued by the Atlantic County Superior Court for failure to appear on charges involving Sexual Assault of a Minor — Endangering a Minor and Failure to Appear for Possession of a Weapon.

A political opponent has been criticizing O’Donoghue publicly regarding his policy of publishing the names of those who are arrested, and those who are most wanted.

However, with 4 of the Most Wanted Fugitives being captured in less than one week — it’s clear that O’Donoghue’s approach has been effective and has delivered results.

Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department On The Capture Of Haynes

On August 25, 2026, members of the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force Atlantic City Division, working alongside Atlantic County Sheriff's Office detectives assigned to the task force, continued the investigation to locate Haynes. On August 31, 2026, reliable intelligence led law enforcement to an apartment at N. South Carolina Avenue in Atlantic City. Haynes was located and taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force Atlantic City Division and assigned Atlantic County Sheriff's Office detectives, said the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department.
