
3 Arrested After Violent Stabbing at Showboat in Atlantic City
Three people have been arrested following a stabbing and brawl at Showboat in Atlantic City earlier this month.

The Atlantic City Police Department says the scene unfolded around 10:30 Sunday night, April 5th, when officers were called to the resort for a report of a stabbing.
The victim, a 38-year-old woman from Severn, MD, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers also learned that a man was stabbed but fled the area before they arrived. That man, Quheem Whitehead, later arrived at the same hospital also with a non-life-threatening injury.
Charges Filed
Police say an investigation led to criminal charges for 38-year-old Quheem Whitehead of Newark, NJ; 41-year-old Marquita Wilson of Newark; and 31-year-old Kiandre Harris of Glen Burnie, MD.
Timeline of Events
According to authorities, after an argument, "Whitehead chased the female victim and struck her numerous times in the head causing her to fall. After falling, Wilson kicked the victim in the face multiple times. During the assault, Harris stabbed Whitehead twice in the back with a pocketknife."
Whitehead and Wilson were arrested on April 9th in Newark by members of the United States Marshals Service's Regional Fugitive Task Force, Atlantic City and Newark Divisions. On April 15th, Harris was arrested in Maryland.
Harris has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain person not to possess a weapon. Whitehead and Wilson are each charged with aggravated assault.
The trio will ultimately be remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
