Police are searching for a former Pennsville man who is wanted in connection with a triple murder in West Virginia.

Pennsville police say Erick Shute has been identified as the alleged shooter and is armed and dangerous, possibly in possession of an assault rifle, according to the NY Daily News. The article states that the shooting took place in Morgan County, West Virginia at about 6 p.m. Monday following an alleged dispute over firewood.

According to NJ Advance Media, Shute is described as being of medium build with medium-length black hair. He is driving a white 2002 Chevy Silverado with West Virginia registration 7WS-465, the article states.

Police ask anyone who sees the suspect's vehicle to call authorities, but warn the public not to approach the vehicle.
