600 Pictures: NJ Man Gets 7 Years for Distribution of Child Porn
A man from Morris County will be spending the next seven years behind bars for distributing child pornography.
63-year-old Mark Miller of Mount Arlington previously pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography; his sentenced was imposed Tuesday in federal court in Trenton.
Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael Honig says in August, 2018, "Miller knowingly possessed more than 600 images of child sexual abuse, including materials depicting prepubescent minors, sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence, and sexual abuse or exploitation of an infant or toddler. Miller knowingly distributed these materials on the Internet through a publicly available peer-to-peer file sharing network."
In addition to the prison term, Miller was also sentenced to five years of supervised release.
Honig credited special agents of the Department of Homeland Security with the investigation that lead to Miller's sentencing.
