Along the riverbanks of West Deptford and National Park in Gloucester County, medical lab supplies washed up on shore late last week. The pictures surfaced on Facebook as the group Divers Against Marine Pollution have shared the photos of the syringe and a vial full of blood.

Yep, that's blood. Who knows how long it's been in there. Apparently, medical facilities all throughout that area have been dumping their waste in those waters of the Delaware for years. Let's be real.... is it really that surprising? It's not a secret to anyone how nasty that water is...

Not that that makes it right.

The Facebook post surfaced early this weekend, but judging by the comments, it doesn't look like anything's done by the authorities yet. The comments do say that those who found the discarded medical supplies did report them to the Department of Environmental Protection.
