New Date: Kenny Chesney Reschedules His 2020 Philly Concert
We now know when Kenny Chesney will be bringing his 2020 Chillaxification tour to Philadelphia.
Set a reminder in your phone for Saturday, June 19, 2021.
One of the zillions of events that were postponed or canceled due to COVID-19 over the past few months was Kenny Chesney's concert at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philly, which was scheduled for June 6th.
In a press release earlier today, Kenny said,
So much goes into the stadium shows, people have no idea. Take all of that, then factor in all the other issues that come with rescheduling, making sure there aren’t conflicts with baseball or other events nearby – and maintain the kind of quality we want to bring. There were so many questions, so many unknowns, but I believe music makes a difference in people’s lives, so everyone on my team, the promoter’s team and all of the people we deal with have worked overtime trying to get this sorted out.
And sorted-out they did.
In 369 days (who's counting?!), with fingers crossed, we will be singing along to Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, and Michael Franti & Spearhead at The Linc.
Kenny's management says if you have a ticket for his 2020 concert, it is automatically valid for the rescheduled show date. If you are unable to see Kenny in Philly on June 19, 2021, you have 30 days from today (June 15th) to request a refund from where you bought your tickets at.
Note: check your calendar -- Kenny Chesney's rescheduled Philly concert is now during the same weekend as the now-rescheduled Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood (June 17-20, 2021).
Should you also have tickets for his show at the Meadowlands, that concert has been rescheduled to August 21, 2021.
