Voorhees native Kelly Ripa is "beyond angry" after finding out her co-host Michael Strahan is leaving 'Live' for a full time position with 'Good Morning America.' Strahan, former defensive end for the Giants has been contributing to GMA a few days a week for two years.  He joined 'Live' in 2012 after Regis Philbin decided to retire.

According to NJ.com,

"Ripa, 45, an alumna of Eastern High School in Voorhees, and Michael Gelman, the show's executive producer, reportedly only found out about Strahan's move shortly before the news was made public on Tuesday. One source told CNN that Ripa is "beyond angry" about the development."

Strahan claimed, "Kelly, I thank you, love you" before signing off of Wednesday's show.  He will start full time on GMA in September while resuming his job as an NFL analyst for Fox.
