New NJ Law Will Require School Students To Learn LGBTQ History
New Jersey Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri has put forth a bill that now sits with Governor Murphy regarding LGBTQ and education.
If and when the bill is signed, it would require high school and middle school students to be taught about the history and accomplishments of the LGBTQ community in regards to civil rights and liberties, among other angles, beginning in the year 2020.
