Suspect arrested after threatening woman with gun, Atlantic City, NJ, police say
An Atlantic City man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun this past Tuesday night.
The incident unfolded around 11:30 on February 20th at a home on the 300 block of North Connecticut Avenue.
The Atlantic City Police Department said their officers initially responded to a report of a man with a gun but then learned that the man was "going in and out of the residence and was extremely agitated."
That man, identified as 32-year-old Eric Teasley, was initially detained as officers investigated the situation.
They learned that while Teasley was in possession of the firearm, he pointed it at a woman who he also threatened with violence while in the presence of two children.
An ACPD officer allegedly located the gun that was loaded with hollow-point ammunition in the kitchen of the home, leading to Teasley's arrest.

Teasley is facing the following charges:
- Unlawful possession of a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose
- Possession of hollow-point ammunition
- Certain person not to possess a weapon
- Aggravated assault
- Terrorist threats
- Endangering the welfare of a child
- Tampering with evidence
Teasley was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
