In a time of such turmoil in our country, it's nice to witness something that stirs up a strong feeling of patriotism.

A Facebook video went viral over the weekend featuring Finn, a six-year-old boy from Connecticut who has both Down Syndrome and Autism. Most people might view that as a double whammy for the parents. What his parents actually see, however, is something beautiful: an appreciation for so many elements of life that the majority of the population take for granted day in and day out. One thing in particular: the American Flag.

The flag is supposed to stand for the ultimate symbol of unity for all Americans. After this weekend, we as an American society can all use a little sign of hope for our country. This video of Finn admiring the flag in his neighbor's yard then what the neighbor did for him will, as Finn's mom said, "restore your faith in humanity".
