Kids’ Top 10 Desired Halloween Candies of 2019
Just in time for the start of the Halloween season!
A recent survey taken shows the results of the most favored candies of 2019. So, before you run out to Walmart to stock up on all your goodies for the trick-or-treaters, you might want to take a gander at the top ten most popular candies preferred by kids.
Before we dive into the list, here's the skinny on the survey. YouGov, a popular data company, recently asked 1,000 kids their candy go-tos. Some of the top spots aren't super shocking, but turns out, trick-or-treaters have pretty diverse palates. Who would've known?
Okay, okay. I know, you want to cross Halloween candy off your shopping list sooner rather than later, so here's your cheat sheet to ensure your house is the favorite of the neighborhood this year.

Hershey Bars
Good, old fashioned chocolate. Can't argue with that. If this were a survey about summer candy, I'd be willing to bet Hershey bars would jump the list a few spots because, ya know, summer season means s'more szn.

If you're not a huge chocolate fan, chances are you reach for the fruity version of M&Ms to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Whichever marketing team Sour Patch Kids hired to write their commercials, they should be thanking them, because they're hilarious. It doesn't matter if you enjoy the taste of Sour Patches or not, you've definitely enjoyed a laugh or two from their ads.

The fact that Butterfingers are higher than Skittles on the list is completely mind-boggling. But, guess the kids are more chocolate lovers these days.

Another legendary campaign... Snickers capitalized on the millennial made-up adjective 'Hangry' and are still pumping out commercials promoting Snickers as the only 'Hanger' remedy. It's working since they're the second most-favorite Halloween candy.
