Halloween came and went this week.

Are you and your kids candied out yet? If so and you don't want to keep any more of it in the house, don't worry. We've got a solution for you.

Believe it or not, there are several organizations throughout the South Jersey region that are currently collecting uneaten Halloween candy to donate it to people who may not have gotten any this year. Some organizations are accepting donations on behalf of the troops, some are collecting for food banks and pantries, etc.

If you're not wanting to keep all the candy your kids collected on Halloween this year, consider donating it before throwing it into the garbage. You'd be surprised at how many people have to miss out on Halloween and all the sweets that come along with it. Sure, it's easier to just chuck it all in the trash. How about making someone's day instead, like a soldier or first responder?
