Winner Selected in Christmas Cookie Contest

After several minutes of trying seven different cookies, I selected a winner in our Christmas Cookie Contest!

Yesterday afternoon, I spent a couple hours meeting a lot of nice people at the Maple Tree Gift Shop in Seaville. The highlight was being the judge - the only judge - of a Christmas Cookie Contest!

Congratulations to Jessica Trexler! I judged her Chocolate Fudge Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie to be the best! Yes, it had chocolate, fudge, peanut butter, and caramel all in one cookie! Four of my favorite things!

Jessica won the grand prize - an instant room makeover, courtesy of Maple Tree!

A big thank you to all the cookie makers, including Lori Repici, Mary Ann Devine, Tabby Handelong, Barb Haak, Roselee Badame, and Christine Cruddas! All the cookies were delicious!

I really tried to take a picture of the winning cookie..... but most of it was gone by the time I snapped this photo. (And the rest disappeared in my tummy moments after the photo was taken....)
