Cops in Atlantic City say a man was shot in the early morning hours of Wednesday in the city.

The Atlantic City Police Department says officers responded to the 100 north block of Pennsylvania Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert just before 2:00 Wednesday morning. Arriving officers located a 17-year-old man from Atlantic City with gunshot wounds. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment of a non-life threatening injuries.

News of this shooting comes just hours after Atlantic City Police were called to another ShotSpotter alert. The Press of Atlantic City reports police responded to the 300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 7:00 Tuesday evening. Cops there found evidence of gunfire but no injuries were reported.
