Atlantic City Students Will Now Report to School This Monday

IMPORTANT UPDATE: ATLANTIC CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS MUST NOW REPORT TO SCHOOL THIS MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020.

There is a conference call today with the Atlantic County Superintendent of Public Schools today at 4:00 p.m.

I will provide an update following this meeting.

This meeting should decide how everyone will proceed for the immediate future.

I have just finished a phone call and have obtained the changing, and, absolute latest news from the Atlantic City Public Schools system.

All students are now required to report to school this Monday, March 16, 2020, at your normal reporting time.

This change is so that the school district can provide and distribute Chromebooks to 4,500 students.

The Chromebooks will be loaded with 30 days of classroom instruction.

School should be a 1/2 day session.

While not officially announced as yet, it is all but certain that the school district will close for the next 2 to 4 weeks.

This decision should be made official tomorrow.

The conference call featuring all Atlantic County School Districts is still set for Monday morning.
