Not only was "Crazy Arms" at the top of the charts this week in 1956, it would be the top country song in the nation for the next 19 weeks. Yes, this song spent 20 weeks at #1 -- only three other songs have achieved greater success -- Webb Pierce, Eddy Arnold, and Hank Snow had songs spend 21 weeks at number one.
