Clementon, NJ, Police: Teen on Illegally Operated Dirt Bike Seriously Hurt in Crash
Police in Camden County say a teenager illegally riding a dirt bike was seriously injured in a crash with a car Wednesday night.
The Clementon Police Department says their officers were dispatched to Erial Rd. and Woodland Ave. at around 8:45.
According to authorities, the dirt bike was being driven recklessly by a 17-year-old juvenile from Pine Hill.
He was transported to Cooper Trauma Center with serious non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.
Parents are asked to be mindful of children who own dirt bikes and quads. ATVs are never permitted on public roads or land.
The teenager was issued numerous summonses and the dirt bike was impounded by police.
