The New Jersey State Police is asking for your help identifying a man suspected of shoplifting from Tractor Supply Company on Wheat Road, just off of Route 40, in Buena Vista Township earlier this month.

State troopers say the incidents occurred on several different occasions between Friday, October 9th, and Wednesday, October 15th.

According to police, the suspect allegedly removed UPC price tags from inexpensive items and placed them on more expensive ones. He then checked out at the register and paid for the illegitimately priced items. The suspect allegedly did this on multiple occasions shoplifting more than $1400 worth of merchandise.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 5’ 10”, 170 pounds, with dark hair, and dark facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, dark-colored shoes, and a dark hat with sunglasses on top. The suspect is believed to have been staying at a nearby motel during the time the crimes were committed. Troopers were able to release some very clear images of the suspect.
