Family Promise of Atlantic County Helps Homeless Get Back On Their Feet
This Daily Dose of Good comes from Barbara Sabath from Absecon on behalf of a ministry called, Family Promise of Atlantic County.
Their mission is to help homeless children and their families gain lasting hope, stability and a future. They’re a nonprofit located in Egg Harbor City who, with a network of local congregations, help homeless children and their families of Atlantic County get back on their feet and become an viable part of society again just like you and me.
They kicked off the year of 2017 by opening their doors for the first time in January. After getting their own feet on the ground, just a month ago, they had a very special family come in.
A family of 5--Mom, Dad and 3 kids--who are overwhelmed by the kindness and care they have received from Family Promise of Atlantic County, and the volunteers who have helped them. They are working hard side by side with this family to get them back on their feet and become a part of our community again, as soon as possible.
Family Promise of Atlantic County is hoping that by this Daily Dose of Good, they can get the word out to others who may benefit from their ministry as well.
