Police have shared the identity of the flight attendant that was found dead in a hotel room near Philadelphia International Airport.

It was Monday when the body of a woman was found by housekeeping staff inside a room at the Marriot Hotel near PHL. The female victim, 66 years old, was reportedly discovered deceased with a sock stuffed in her mouth.

According to 6abc.com, she was supposed to have checked out of the Marriot the Saturday before she was found dead.

People.com reports her death was immediately considered suspicious by police. The case is now in the hands of Philadelphia Police Department's homicide division.

On Thursday, authorities released the name of the victim: Diana Ramos, a flight attendant for American Airlines.

There were no weapons found at the scene, according to police, but an investigation continues. There are no details yet available as to whether Ramos might have known her killer or if there was any forced entry into the hotel room.
