New Jersey Native and American Idol Alum Back After Cancer Battle

Last summer, American Idol alum and Jersey native Jax revealed she was battling thyroid cancer.

According to NJ.com,

The decision last summer was to remove her thyroid, a gland adjacent to her larynx and vocal cords -- a nightmarish surgery for a professional singer.

Thankfully the surgery was a success and she sounds better than ever!
