This is no BULL-oney!  Regardless of the whole Pork Roll vs. Taylor Ham debate (aka North vs. South Jersey) the love for this breakfast delicacy goes far and wide in the Garden State. So much, in fact, that one of New Jersey's minor league baseball teams is changing its name in honor of the meat product.

What once was The NY Yankees Minor League Team known as "The Trenton Thunder", is now changing it's name to "The Pork Roll" for the upcoming season. Allegedly, the change will only take place on Friday's starting May 18th, but will fully be embraced with new jerseys and a logo that portray the processed meat.

The Teams GM and Chief operating officer Jeff Hurley says:

Pork Roll is a New Jersey staple that can be served on everything from breakfast sandwiches to burgers and we're thrilled to celebrate it on a daily basis at ARM & HAMMER Park. Re-branding ourselves as the Thunder Pork Roll on Friday nights is the perfect way to celebrate a Garden State favorite!
