One Dead, 11 Hurt in Vineland Head-On Crash

Tragedy in Vineland Thursday morning -- one person was killed and 11 others were injured in a fiery head-on crash.

The Daily Journal reports at about 6:30 this morning, a car that was traveling south on Mill Road apparently crossed into the northbound lane and slammed into a passenger van that was carrying eleven employees of Lucca Freezer and Cold Storage.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The eleven people in the van were all taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Vineland Police continue to investigate the accident.
