Rachel Marie Says Goodbye to Cat Country [WATCH]

My words are failing me as I try to explain my emotions today. It is with an uplifted yet heavy heart that I let you all know today is my last day waking you up on the Cat Country Morning show.

I'm a firm believer that God has a plan for everyone! Little did I know-- his plans for me are moving much quicker than I ever could have prepared for. Although this is scary, and very overwhelming for me; I could not be more appreciative to have had the opportunity to sit alongside the one and only Joe Kelly for the past 1 1/2 years as his first ever co-host in 20 years! He, as well as Townsquare Media Atlantic City, has given me the room to learn and grow here in South Jersey. However, my experience here has guided me into pursuing my broadcasting dreams elsewhere.

There are so many people I need to thank, considering my heart is overflowing with gratitude. But the most important, is YOU. My supporters, my family, my friends, my people. You're so much more than a "listener" to me--I would be absolutely nothing without each and every one of you who have taken even just a minute to hear what I have to say. My favorite part of this all was meeting the 80,000+ of you while the Cat Is On The Prowl, because it gave me the chance to see all of the people I talk to every day!  It's also brought great joy to my heart doing the "Daily Dose of Good" as a way to reach out to the community and help those in our area who are in need.

It has been a true honor to wake up with South Jersey everyday from 5:30am-10am. This place will always carry my heart, and more importantly...will always be home. <3 Wishing everyone the best!
