It seems there has been a little confusion down on the Wildwood boardwalk this summer.

It's no big deal. After all, things are changing all the time in every single Jersey shore town. As a matter of fact, it almost feels like there's something different with every new summer season. There are bound to be updates that visitors miss out on upon their initial arrival for vacation. Luckily, residents are quick to come to the rescue.

That's the case, at least, in Wildwood. People have been questioning whether or not bikes are allowed on the boardwalk past 11 in the morning now. Apparently, there has been mixed messaging surrounding the new legal biking hours.

For a long time, you could only bring your bikes up to boards to enjoy a nice morning ride until 11. Now, though, the biking hours have been extended. According to local residents, you can now bike on the Wildwood boardwalk for the majority of the morning and early afternoon. Wildwood officials ask that all bikes make their exit from the boards by 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

That makes sense, though, doesn't it? It's at that time that the boards start to get crowded. They stay that way through the night, also. You'll see a bike or two on the boardwalk at night because, of course, some people just can't help themselves. God forbid they follow the rules, right? Always a rebel amongst the bunch. Give an inch, take a mile, am I right?

If you see this photo HERE circulating around social media, just know it shows outdated information.

You're allowed to ride bikes until 1p on the boardwalk now.

Happy riding!
