While you may be able to see a “mermaid” skeleton at Ripley’s Believe It or Not, a New Jersey aquarium is allowing visitors to get up close and personal with live mermaids this November.

Adventure Aquarium in Camden will be the home to mermaids during the month of November. Now that the weather is getting cooler, finding indoor activities makes the cold months go by faster. Adventure Aquarium is always offering new activities to keep things fresh and interesting.

From November 2-10, visitors will be able to see the mermaids perform and meet them on dry land. The mermaids will be throughout the aquarium with unique experiences through the various locations.

The mermaids will be swimming among the sharks and other sea-creatures in the aquarium’s Shark Exhibit. The Stingray Beach Club, AKA the stingray touch tank, will be a Mermaid Beach Club where the mermaids will spend time with the stingrays. Aquarium-goers can meet the mermaids on dry land for a meet and greet at Blue Mile.

Other activities include mermaid crafts, mermaid/pirate face painting, pirate meet and greets, and VIP experiences.

For the adults, the aquarium will be hosting Sips Undersea on November 6th for a mermaid centric happy hour.
