Sounds Like Smoking Won’t Be Disappearing From AC, NJ Casinos Anytime Soon
We've asked you a few times how you feel about smoking still being allowed inside the casinos in Atlantic City.

If you think back to the middle of the pandemic, smoking privileges were suspended indoors at the casinos for a time, however it has since returned. Once the smoking ban was lifted, we asked you your thoughts about people smoking once again inside. You can check out the specific comments on that poll HERE.
The majority of people that commented said they wouldn't be sad to see smoking disappear. After a meeting of a few powers-that-be who would be the ones responsible for making that decision, it seems as though you can expect smoking to remain a thing inside the casinos for now. Apparently, when asked about legislation that would ban smoking for good at the casinos in AC, New Jersey's state Senate President said that there haven't been any talks about pushing anything of the sort through.
Not only have there been no discussions to date about any such legislation, NJ.com reports that there doesn't even seem to be any intention to begin conversations that would even set anything involving a smoking ban in motion. So, everyone who was hoping for smoke-free casinos will sadly not see their dream come to fruition anytime in the near future.
