Who knew South Jersey had such a strong opinion on this matter!

This lull between Halloween and Thanksgiving is often a heated topic for people regarding one aspect: Christmas decorating.

If you're anything like me, then you like to let your fall decorations simmer and breathe for a little bit. You won't catch me decorating for Christmas until it's almost time to expand this waistline when we all stuff our faces with turkey in a few short weeks. Apparently, the majority of South Jersey agrees with me.

I was curious to see how many people actually started to do their Christmas decorating the minute Halloween was over. I know a few people who do that, but not many. I don't know about you, but I have some super cute fall decorations that have nothing to do with Halloween and are perfectly acceptable staying right where they are until we're done eating the stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie.

Based on the comments so far, it's safe to say most people are on my side of this debate. It's too early to start hanging the Christmas lights just yet. Let the pumpkins have their time. Not everyone is ready for the weather to get super cold and for all the fall snacks, coffees, etc. to disappear for another year. LOOK:
