Buddy Kennedy

Millville's Buddy Kennedy is more known for his offensive prowess, but was flashing the leather on the fourth of July, starting a beautiful 4-6-3 double play on Monday against the Giants.

The star of the game may have been Kennedy's dad, Clifton, who was caught on camera jumping for joy about what was probably the best Fathers's Day gift he could have gotten.

It was a successful debut, to say the least, for Millville, New Jersey native Buddy Kennedy during his Major League Baseball debut over the weekend.

He has been playing third base for the Reno Aces, hitting .296 with four home runs and 24 RBI.

Millville high school has been producing some top athletes at the next level recently.

Millville's other major league draft pick made some highlight reels over the weekend - because of a rather unique slide into second base.
