Your Patriotic Playlist For Remembering 9/11
Today is an emotional day for our country. Every citizen still feels the chill when the events that occurred in NYC, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, PA are brought to light once again.
Several memorial ceremonies are held all throughout the nation today, including some in South Jersey. Click here for a complete list of commemorations near you.
Most of us cannot make it out to a ceremony due to prior commitments and responsibilities, but that doesn't mean we can't meditate and reflect in our own way. The best way to take time out of your day to remember the events of 17 years ago is through music.
Music is the gateway to the soul. There's a song for every moment in life, and today is no exception. As Florida Georgia Line famously sings, "Music Is Healing". A lyric or a specific chord is enough to evoke emotion that puts us right in the middle of a memory.
